Your main responsibilities

Bayer Crop Science is looking for a strong and motivated Grower & Channel Manager Vegetables. He/She will ensure availability
and implementation of the targeted “Grower and Channel Must Win Battle” strategies and interaction models, that builds the
foundation for Country Group (Italy/Greece) go-to-market strategy and drive its implementation. In addition to that, he/she will
increase customer share and customer lifetime value through a balanced push/pull strategy that drives current and future country
group strategy.

In particular:
• Define marketing plans targeting priority customers segments and ensuring Crop solution potential is captured for the
given portfolio of responsibility. Owns, is responsible and accountable for the BUD and marketing plans for crop groups
and brands (top line growth, but including the pricing, DOH and national P&I investments). Draw up the sales and IGM
mid and long-term budget plans
• Prepare and share through the organization a marketing & communication plans, integrated (CP, Seeds, Services) offers
for our grower-customers and channel-customers based on customer strategies and through implementation of
global/regional product and service portfolio strategies and guidelines
• Support implementation of communication plans & territory plans providing guidance and adherence to defined
priorities in close collaboration with Campaign Activation and Marketing Communications teams
• Price Solution for value: work closely with Market development and Regional Marketing team to align on value capture
and pricing. Part of the team, with sales to build commercial offer to the channel, guaranteeing the agreed profitability
• Support and influence the definition of the right portfolio strategy on country group and cluster level by providing
market knowledge, grower insights and reflecting customer needs in close collaboration with Field Solution &
Agronomic Solution
• Collaborate with Regulatory Science to leverage the healthiness of current and future assigned portfolio, anticipating
impact on the availability of products through S&OP process
• Active participation on definition of Integrated Solution priorities at Country Group level
• Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers on go-to-market implementation -monitor grower interactions, coach the
sales force and ensure alignment on different interaction strategies
• Lead actionable growers, influencers, or channel partners segmentation according to go-to- market strategy
• Monitor the timeliness and effectiveness of go-to-market plan execution

Requirements:
• University Degree in Agronomy/ Economics degree; Marketing certification as a plus
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (sales or marketing) in a major multinational crop science company
• Deep knowledge of product lines, applications, and fertilizer business
• Data driven, natural skills for software management, capacity to engage, explain and share good practice to sales
team
• Strong communication, collaboration, influencing, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills
• Result oriented
• IT & Digital tools knowledge
• Fluent English
• Italian mother tongue
• The residence or domicile nearby Milano or in continental Center-

South Italy will be considered a plus
